Saturday, July 23rd: West Channel Pond to Mount Pleasant to Fort Hill Circuit Trail, Rocky River South Reservation

Distance: 3.1 miles

Difficulty: Moderate due to steep hills

Trail Surface: Forested trail, stairs, paved path

Land Status: Public

Summer is in full swing. This was a warm and muggy hike, but we were still glad to get out on the trails! A portion of the trail was closed for repairs, so we modified the second half of the hike a bit, but it was still enjoyable! It was nice to see so many people out being active even though the temperature was heating up.

The trail itself lead us on a beautiful route with overlooks of the Rocky River. There were many steep climbs that got our heart rates going, and it took us to sections of the park that neither of us had ever been to.
